Hey Seadogs!  Getting back into the swing but I think we knew what was coming when we were matched with dNd yesterday.  🙂  Some pretty serious competition and they kept a solid lead on us throughout.  Things were a bit lazy at the dogs this time – guess it’s a busy time of year.  We’ll see how we do the next few rumbles.  We’ll be taking a break for the holidays but we have a few more we hope to do well on between now and then.  Today’s results:

After last Wednesday’s rumble, we all agree that the start time wasn’t good. For Wednesday’s rumble we will trial a new start time of 11:30pm US ET which is 04:30am UK.  Any feedback on rumble start/finish is most welcome.  It’s a pity this rumble wasn’t a bit more feisty but I think the Sat. time of 7:30pm ET will work.  We may very well end up with different times for the Wed and Sat rumbles.  Have a great day Seadogs!

Cap’n Dog’s Announcements: 

I think we all agree that the new rumble start time didn’t work well this rumble.  Given that it was a work day the new time didn’t give us the strategy we were looking for.  Will be interested in your feedback over the next couple of days.  We will try the same time for Saturday’s rumble and see how that works.  Gotta try new things!

Guild donation troops: there was a discussion a while ago and suggestions made.  Officers have had a discussion on this and have decided to leave the current troop donations as is.  The reason behind this is as a guild we welcome all different levels of experience and always want everyone to be part of one team.  To start to separate crew based on their level of troop would lead to 2 tiers of crew within the guild.  So if you prefer a certain level of gunner, or a different type of troop, please enter this into your request.  Our default troop donation is gunner unless something else is requested.

We are no. 32 guild and no. 22 for rumbles.  Great!!

Thanks for doing the survey to everyone who got their answers in.  The officers have read the tea leaves and chosen one of the times that looks like it will work best for the most mates.  This is a trial, so definitely let us know how it’s working out.  Our goal is to get a competitive edge by ending rumbles at a time when the most players would be able to join the final rally.
